Artist Statement

I came back to art after a long time away from it. I’m still rebuilding, still learning, and still trying to make the work better every time I sit down in front of it.

My work usually leans toward fantasy, portraits, darker moods, and figures that feel like they have some kind of story behind them. I like atmosphere. I like character. I like when an image feels like it has a pulse, even if it’s quiet.

I work in digital painting, oil painting, Dreamscape portraits, custom fantasy artwork, and photography-based references for clients in the Charlotte area.

I’m not trying to make perfect little decorations. I’m trying to make images that feel alive.
