What This Is
The First Sketchbook Project helps put basic art supplies into young hands. Charlotte Art Hub collects donated supplies, sorts them, builds beginner-friendly art kits, and works with local schools and youth programs to get those kits to children who could use more access to creative materials.
This is meant to be simple, steady, and useful. People donate supplies. Charlotte Art Hub assembles the kits. Local schools and youth programs help get them to the kids who can use them.

How It Works
- You donate new or like-new beginner art supplies.
- Charlotte Art Hub collects, sorts, and assembles the supplies into starter art kits.
- The finished kits are delivered to local schools and youth programs.
- Kids get supplies, a sketchbook, and a place to start creating.
Ways To Get Involved
Give sketchbooks, pencils, colored pencils, markers, crayons, or other beginner supplies.
Help cover the cost of missing supplies, bags, printing, and delivery materials.
Help sort supplies, assemble kits, spread the word, or connect us with a recipient program.
Schools and youth programs can contact Charlotte Art Hub about receiving future kits.
